Elmer101 SW40Plus
- This being kinda "after the fact", but I finally got everything done that I wanted to do. Details and pictures at it's own page!
CW Audio Filter
- Details: Yep, I could just go out and buy one, but I'm just too stubborn. I am currently working on a circuit, based on the dual stage op-amp version of a narrow band audio filter for CW, out of the 1988 ARRL Handbook.
It is still in the parts acquisition stage
Update: Never could get the thing to stop oscillating, so i bought an MFJ-720.
New and improved Bubba Box!
- OK. This is really a sick idea. Take a bunch of wood, and turn it into two things, a bunch of shavings to put in the bottom of a hamster cage, and a wooden box that is actually transportable, which will hold everything I will ever need for two people to operate portable for 8 days.
Yes I said 8 (eight) days!
Why (you may ask) would anyone want to operate portable for 8 days?
Well, I guess I just got bored. Anyway, this thing is really turning out to be a work of art. It is 37in long, 18in deep, 14in high. At least that is the base structure.
There is two table top devices that fold out from the top of the box, creating a work surface with a total possible length of about 7 feet wide and 18in deep. These top's open up compartments that can hold 2 large tarps and an air mattress.
The box has a liquid tight compartment that holds the deep-cycle, and 4 other compartments that have a combines storage volume of 3 small children!
The box also will have wheels (retractable) for easy transport. Pictures will be available following FYBO.
