38 Special
2nd owner. Purchased from another amateur in 1997.
Tick Keyer installed.
High Power mod installed.
Works ok, Rx sensativity is poor.
Would benefit greatly from an on-board AF amp, and speaker.
Keyer jack uses 1/4" stereo phone plug. would prefer Mini (1/8") plug.
Installation of a separate jack for keyeing would greatly enhance operation. That way, I would have to maintain one less cable.
Molex Connector has been installed for input power, consistant with ARRL reccommended DC standard cableing.
Stored in Bubba Box.
