Lesson 022 , Transceiver Construction - T/R Switch

This lesson covers the TR Switch.

The above link is the latest version of the TR switch. 

Is is composed of only 2 transistors, Q104 and Q105. There are no special instructions for this build. Wire up the seven parts according to the schematic.

The KEY input will accept a STRAIGHT KEY. Connect the 8 volt lines to the 8 volt regulator output. Connect the XMIT and RCVE lines to their connections on the tranceiver board.

At this point, the transceiver board is capable of receiving signal, but AFTER calibration of C3 and C5. This completes the TR switch. 

PS: the schematic also shows the K10 keyer chip from K1EL, and the capacitive paddles. These are options that will be addressed AFTER we build the 20 meter band module.
